A Letter from the Executive Director

Dear Partner in Oral Health Care,

On behalf of the New York State Dental Foundation (NYSDF),
it is with great pleasure that I write you today in regards to the
imperative work of the Foundation. Founded in 1980, the New
York State Dental Foundation works to ensure the
advancement of the art and science of dentistry and dental
education. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked
tirelessly to improve the quality of dental care throughout the
State. It is with this that we invite you to become an integral
part of the Foundation’s mission. With your help we can
continue to work towards ensuring that all New Yorkers are
awarded superior dental care, and that the dental profession
remains vibrant and at the frontlines of cutting edge research.

Your support will help to fund programs such as the New York
State Dental Foundation’s Deans Award, the Give Kids a Smile
Awards, the development of a “Milestones in Dentistry”
teaching resource program, continuing education programs for
dentists, dental care outreach programs for children across
New York State, as well as an array of programs and initiatives
aimed at reaching rural and underserved populations
throughout the State. In order to continue our mission of
making brighter smiles across New York State, we need your
help; please consider one of our many levels of sponsorship
