The Foundation is building a community of young people working to create positive change across New York State. Dental students and residents who volunteer at a Special Olympics New York Health Athletes "Special Smiles" screening event can apply for travel reimbursement from the New York State Dental Foundation. Their volunteer efforts today will help prepare them to practice dentistry with compassion, vision and a spirit of inclusiveness.
