Three continuing education credits will be granted.

The course will present the salient issues affecting promotion of oral health and the establishment of a dental home for the very
young child. At the conclusion, the participant will be able to:

  • Examine young children using the "knee to knee" method
  • Conduct a risk assessment
  • Provide fluoride varnish as needed
  • Educate parents
