Diversity Seminar held by the New York State Dental Foundation

Please join us for a full day of continuing dental education offered to a diverse group of noted colleagues. In addition to earning six
MCE credits for topnotch continuing education, you will have the opportunity to speak personally to leaders of NYSDA and to
representatives of our corporate sponsors for the event, DEXIS Digital X-Ray, Merrill Lynch, Sullivan-Schein and Astra Tech.

The forum is sponsored by the New York State Dental Foundation. Registration is $80/person, which includes lunch. Use the

“Managing Risk In Your Dental Practice”
Speaker: Amy Kulb, Esquire, a partner in the law firm of Jacobson, Goldberg and Kulb. She has represented health care
professionals and medical facilities in professional discipline proceedings before the Office of Professional Discipline and the
Office of Professional Medical Conduct for over 32 years.

“Digital Imaging”
Speaker: Dr. Thomas Schiff served as Professor and Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and Emergency Services and
Director of Clinical Research at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco, CA. During his tenure he was
the first named endowed professor. He is recognized worldwide for his contributions to dentistry and radiology. He is a fellow of
the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, the International Association of Dental Maxillofacial Radiology,
and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Schiff is a diplomate of the American Academy of Oral Medicine.

“Cosmetic Dentistry”
Speaker: Dr. Mark Pitel is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Esthetic Dentistry at the NYU School of Dentistry and
Director of Scientific and Clinical Affairs for Heraeus Kulzer, Inc. He has over 20 years clinical experience with and “emphasis on
cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry”. He is a fellow of the ADG and the International Academy of Dentofacial Esthetics and
holds a level II certificate from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

“Endodontics”
Speaker: Dr. Chad Gehani is Clinical Associate Professor of Endodontics at NYU.
